«One of Denis Mitchell's best remembered documentaries, made for the BBC in 1958 and transmitted in early 1959, it depicts working-class life in the back-to-backs of an unnamed northern city. Much of the shooting took place in Liverpool, but areas of Manchester, Salford and Stockport also make an appearance. Children play on bomb sites and elderly people reminisce about their childhoods and loved ones lost during World War II.»

«Record of Frank Hurley's two expeditions to Papua New Guinea which he undertook in 1921/22. "With the headhunters of Unknown Papua" opened in "Lyceum and Lyric Theatres", Sydney in October 1923. It was retitled "Pearls and Savages" for distribution in Europe and America.»
